Baptist Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy IT/Billing Manager to serve as the expert for pharmacy IT applications, optimize automated dispensing and splitting software, and liaise between IT and Pharmacy for technology needs. You will aggregate data for leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the charge master liaison and billing processes.
Responsibilities include mapping medications in CPOE, optimizing ADC inventories, developing data reports, and maintaining pharmacy automation
The Pharmacy IT/Billing Manager will serve as the expert for various IT pharmacy applications Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Split-Billing Software, Electronic Medical Record, Physician Order Entry System, Pre-packing technology, inventory technologies, etc to department staff; and facilitates communication between the IT department and the pharmacy on selected technology-related needs. Provides ongoing support for the various department hardware and software programs. In addition, the position is responsible for aggregating and analyzing data based on requests from senior leadership, hospital management, and staff. Maintains compliance with regulatory agency requirements; and schedules and attends meetings (e.g. nursing orientation, pharmacy-nursing committee). This person will also oversee the charge master liaison and work with pharmacy administration to assure proper billing processes.
