Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL seeks a Pharmacy IT/Billing Manager to lead the integration and support of pharmacy IT systems including CPOE, 340B split billing, ADCs, and prepacking technologies. The role bridges IT and pharmacy, ensuring accurate data, compliance, and efficient billing processes.
Responsibilities include managing automation across the system, generating daily charge and revenue reports, and directing a team through recruitment, coaching, and evaluation.
The Pharmacy IT/Billing Manager will serve as the expert for various IT pharmacy applications Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Split-Billing Software, Electronic Medical Record, Physician Order Entry System, Pre-packing technology, inventory technologies, etc to department staff; and facilitates communication between the IT department and the pharmacy on selected technology-related needs. Provides ongoing support for the various department hardware and software programs. In addition, the position is responsible for aggregating and analyzing data based on requests from senior leadership, hospital management, and staff. Maintains compliance with regulatory agency requirements; and schedules and attends meetings (e.g. nursing orientation, pharmacy-nursing committee). This person will also oversee the charge master liaison and work with pharmacy administration to assure proper billing processes.
