Job summary

Apple Store Online is seeking a seasoned Manager of Personalization Product Management to lead a high-performing team focused on customer-facing personalization capabilities. You will drive the strategic roadmap for personalized shopping experiences, partnering with Store Online, ML, Data Science, Design, and Marketing to deliver trustworthy, relevant, and delightful experiences for every Apple customer.

You will own end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through delivery, hire and develop

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience in e-commerce, including direct leadership of complex projects or programs end-to-end, and 2 years of people leadership
  • Proven track record of leading work across product or program managers, coaching and enabling team members, and empowering them to deliver high-impact results
  • Experience building multi-year technical roadmaps that align feature, platform, and capability investments to business priorities
  • Deep technical proficiency, with the ability to contribute to solution design and architecture decisions that produce extensible, operationally scalable experiences or platforms
  • Proven ability to take high-level concepts through the full product lifecycle — from ideation to detailed planning to delivery — with systematic rigor at each stage
  • Experience partnering across business, engineering, and design, with a track record of synthesizing complex information into clear narratives that drive alignment and progress
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a technical degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience

Apple is looking for an experienced, dynamic leader of Product and Program Management to join the Apple Store Online Product Team, with a focus on building personalized shopping capabilities. This team is responsible for delivering experiences and capabilities that help customers discover, evaluate, and purchase Apple products in ways that are trustworthy, deeply relevant, and delightful. This is a technical role that links between business, design, and engineering to deliver incredible experiences and products to our customers.

Description

In this role, you will lead a high-performing team that focuses on customer-facing personalization capabilities that deliver significant commercial value for our organization and represent the future of digital retail. Your team will drive the strategic implementation of cutting-edge personalization technologies that uphold world-class privacy standards, including advanced recommendation engines, dynamic merchandising capabilities, adaptive user interfaces, and personalized lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and revenue growth. This role will require significant partnership with teams across Apple, including Apple Store Online teams, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Marketing. Success in this role means delivering timely, relevant, and privacy-conscious personalized experiences for every Apple customer.

  • 3+ years of hiring, developing, and managing product managers
  • Proven track record building a portfolio of AI-powered digital commerce experiences—bridging design, technology, and machine learning to power seamless user journeys
  • Experience delivering large-scale personalization, recommendation, or dynamic merchandising systems, defining capability stacks that incorporate privacy-first principles
  • Expertise in scaling continuous experimentation programs to rigorously test, measure, and improve customer experience and conversion metrics
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and operate with ease in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator who aligns perspectives, drives accountability, and influences across matrixed teams without direct authority
  • High self-awareness and humility, with a strong growth mindset and unwavering ownership of team culture and product outcomes

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,700 and $319,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
