Job summary

Corient is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead onboarding for new client relationships, establish reporting and operational processes, and oversee accounting, cash management, payroll, and financial administration for individuals, trusts, and related entities.

You will review financial reports, support family office activities, and ensure timely processing while coordinating with wealth managers, tax preparers, and other advisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in multi-family office or professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, cash management, investment reporting, and financial operations.
  • Familiarity with trusts, estates, foundations, and partnerships, including related tax/reporting.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and relationship management skills.
  • Professional discretion and client service commitment.
  • CPA or prior public accounting experience preferred.
  • Office-based four days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding for new client relationships and establish reporting, accounting, and operational processes.
  • Oversee accounting, cash management, payroll, and financial administration for individuals, trusts, partnerships, foundations, and related entities.
  • Review financial reports, reconciliations, and year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support family office activities, including gifting and charitable giving, and special financial projects.
  • Oversee bill pay, disbursements, and related controls for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review reconciliations, resolve exceptions, and provide reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with wealth managers, tax preparers, attorneys, and other advisors as day-to-day client contact.
  • Prepare client-ready materials, participate in meetings, and respond to requests across multiple relationships.
  • Support tax, estate, and planning initiatives and assist with ad hoc analyses.
  • Coach and develop team members to drive quality and timely execution.
  • Maintain a collaborative, service-oriented culture grounded in accountability and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Review reconciliations, resolve exceptions, and provide reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and coordinate seamlessly with wealth managers, tax preparers, attorneys, and other advisors.
  • Prepare client-ready materials, participate in meetings, and respond thoughtfully to requests across multiple relationships.
  • Support to tax, estate, and planning-related initiatives while supporting ad hoc analyses and special projects.
  • Coach and develop team members while helping drive quality, consistency, and timely execution across deliverables.
  • Support a collaborative, service-oriented culture grounded in accountability, discretion, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a multi-family office, family office, or related professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, cash management, investment reporting, and financial operations across complex entity structures.
  • Familiarity with trusts, estates, foundations, and partnerships, including related tax and reporting considerations.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and relationship management skills.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to exceptional client service.
  • CPA or prior public accounting experience preferred.
  • This role is expected to be in the office four days per week.
Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
