An established industry player is seeking a Manager of Access to enhance patient and physician scheduling efficiency. The Manager - Access primarily manages the scheduling function of the team by implementing standards, systems, and processes to improve patient and referring physician access, as well as clinician satisfaction with scheduling activities across the Health System. The Manager - Access ensures the scheduling team and unit meet or exceed performance standards focused on patient and referring physician access, correct provider assignment, and the capture of pre-appointment medical records, referrals, patient demographics, insurance, and other relevant financial information.
Position Compensation Range: $76,398.40 - $122,241.60 annually.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required or obtained within 3 years of hire; Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 3 years of medical background in outpatient/ambulatory setting.
Licensure: None required; Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia preferred.
This is primarily a sedentary role involving extensive desktop computer use. Occasional travel for meetings and programs may be required.
