Position Summary
The Patient Access Manager functions as a subject matter expert for the enterprise and manages a seamless referral process for external providers to provide a high level of customer service to ensure Vidant Health is competitive in the marketplace. Maintains appropriate staffing levels to manage the growth/volume of the referrals received by the organization: to ensure all workflows are in place & seamless so that each request is processed and scheduled in a timely fashion. The Patient Access Manager is responsible to achieve service standards and turnaround times for external customers and to maintain/develop metrics and dashboards to monitor and report out on performance.
