Job summary

Centuri is seeking an experienced Training Programs Manager in Manassas, VA to lead the Operations Training Program, aligning field and classroom instruction with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen, develop benchmarks, and ensure policies are followed, while delivering engaging, hands-on technical instruction and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 5 year’s experience in the utility industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 year’s experience leading instructor led training.
• Must have strong understanding of construction and pipeline safety policies and procedures.
• OSHA 30 and Competent Person Training preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to present theory and concepts, as well as hands-on technical instruction with clarity, confidence and enthusiasm required.
• Computer literate and proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the Operations Training Program.
• Ensure that participants and instructors follow all policies and procedures.
• Establish, track and report benchmarks and progress of the program.
• Coordinate field personnel with instructors.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
