Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily pipeline and facility operations across multiple segments in the Seminole region. You will supervise field staff, coordinate with the E&C group on capital and major O&M projects, and ensure safe, compliant operations aligned with company policies.

The role requires strong leadership, broad experience in operation/maintenance of pipelines, and a commitment to safety in industrial settings. On-site role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
• Eight years of responsible operation, maintenance, and administrative pipeline experience.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Supervise pipeline and compressor facility operations with safety and regulatory compliance.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies or operational assistance.
• Collaborate with area management to set and measure work-group goals and performance.
• Manage budgets for operations, maintenance, and small-capital projects, and assist with future budgets.
• Ensure resources and information are available for day-to-day facility operations and decisions.
• Be the first point of contact for customers, landowners, and the public, addressing issues with senior management as needed.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and oversee staff development and performance.

Summary:

The Operations Manager will report to the NWTX Director of Operations, provide day-to-day support for the area employees/assets and provide basic supervisory oversight.As a manager, employee will interact with the Well Connect E&C Group on Capital and major O&M project work to ensure successful planning, construction and documentation of the installation. Operations Manager will be responsible for Pecos to Artesia, Artesia to Wasson, Wasson to Slaughter, Wasson to Seminole, Seminole to Andrews, Andrews to Midland, Mabee to Midland and various gathering systems across all the mentioned assets. Operations Manager will provide supervisory oversight for Skilled, and Pipeline Technician employees on Area projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide the safe direction to employees regarding pipeline and compressor facility operations consistent with company and governmental requirements.
• On-Call 24/7 for emergencies or operational assistance.
• Work with area management to establish and measure work group goals and performance
• Responsible for adhering to operation and maintenance budgets and small capital projects, along with helping develop operating budgets for prospective areas of responsibilities.
• Assures the work group has the resources and information to make informed decisions regarding day to day operation of facilities in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as the first line of management contact for customers, landowners, and the public. Assures any issues identified by these groups are conveyed to senior management and/or addresses them locally.
• Enforces company policies and procedures and ensures operations are maintained as required.
• Conducts personnel reviews, and oversees the career planning and employee development for those employees in the work group.

Requirements:

Preferred Skills:

• Familiar with the Federal Code of Regulations as it relates to Liquid Pipeline Construction and Operations (DOT 195)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
