Job summary

Epredia is seeking a Manufacturing Manager, Operations to lead on-site production teams in Portsmouth, NH. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet customer demand.

You will develop strategic plans, implement Lean initiatives, and manage budgets in a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring ISO 13485 and GMP compliance. The role emphasizes people development and continuous improvement across the floor.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
  • 3+ years leading supervisors or multiple production teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • P&L experience managing production metrics, labor planning, budgets, and operational performance.
  • Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity objectives.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that support business goals and customer demand.
  • Translate company objectives into measurable departmental goals and monitor progress through KPIs.
  • Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, HR, and Finance to improve operational performance.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives using Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Standard Work, Visual Management, and RCA.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase capacity.
  • Review production metrics daily and identify trends requiring corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, GMP, safety, and quality system requirements.
  • Manage labor utilization, overtime, staffing, and operational budgets.
