Summary

Manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30am-1:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implements,improvesandmaintainsthe operational functions of thedepartmentswhile achieving effective and efficient service to the customer with a focus on quality, productivity,safetyand loss prevention.
  • Establishes productivity and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains adherence through follow up and due diligence.
  • Managesoperating budgetsto meet the plannedvolumefor theyearincludingcost analysis,P&Laccountabilityandlabor productivity.
  • Works directly with all levels of associates to ensure procedures are followedconsistentlyand best practices are adhered to regularly.
  • Plans, schedules, and managesthe daily work activities within thedepartmentstomeet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Leveragescontinuous improvement methodsto enhancelabor productivity and process accuracy whilemaintaininga clean and safe work environment.
  • Performsmanagerialfunctions, suchas,mentoring, coaching,administeringperformance reviews,conductingdisciplinaryactionsand interviewing employment candidates.
  • Trains andensuresall assigned associates are aware of andcomply withcompany, government and customer policies,proceduresand regulations.
  • Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Trains andensuresall assigned employees are aware of andcomply withcompany, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages five subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 45+employees in the Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving,Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing departments.Is responsible forthe overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of theseunits.Carries out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withthe organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees oforganization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software, MS Word Processing software, and MS Outlook.

Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired, but not necessary.

Pay Range:

$70,000-$80,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
