Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of QA or internal audit experience in production.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and ensure compliance.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ICAR process and ensure issues are remediated.
  • Test remediation plans and support trend analysis.
  • Maintain and develop Standard Operating Procedures.

Job description

Overview

The primary function of Manager, Operational Risk and Quality is to support the identification and remediation of process failures and control gaps. Issues are identified by the company’s issue management program or via process audits. Issues are identified, categorized, tracked, remediated, and reported via a formal Incident Corrective Action Report (ICAR).

What you will do

  • Support ICAR process by working with business to ensure that all issues have been fully remediated.
  • Test business remediation plans to ensure processes continue to work as expected over time.
  • Work with business to identify and test controls.
  • Support trend analysis and reporting.
  • Perform periodic and targeted reviews of specific templates and processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of Standard Operating Procedures (drafting missing SOPs, updating existing SOPs, and performing annual governance review).
  • Support the Document Generation and Configuration project release process
  • Work with teams to modify and create standard operating procedures that include adequate detective, preventive and/or corrective quality controls
  • Participate in a variety of special projects related to MCDS products and services

What you will bring

  • 5-7 years of QA, internal audit experience or document management in a production environment

  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Preferred, but not necessarily required:
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • USPS products and services experience
