Formación

• Two or more years of management experience required.

Position Benefits and Requirements include paid training, a consistent schedule with no late nights or weekends, opportunities to specialize in programming areas, and free swim lessons for your immediate family after 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to ensure the school runs according to GSS standard operating procedures.
• Manage staff to maintain high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
• Onboard, train, and oversee new staff to provide superior swim instruction and customer service.
• Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff to promote the program.
• Gain knowledge of software programs to assist with booking, scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
• Support pool operations to ensure a safe and sanitary swim environment.
• Develop from within by coaching and developing employees.
• Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures; train staff on the GSS EAP.
• Maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date in aquatics and management.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the Employer.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider preferred.
• Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

• Active Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred; willingness to obtain certifications within the first 60 days of employment.

Compensation

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
