Job summary

Club Pilates - Iowa is seeking a Manager on Duty/Sales Lead to assist the Studio Manager with new membership sales by bringing in new members, booking Intro Classes, and helping retain current members. Pilates knowledge is preferred but not required; this is an in-studio role with 20-25 hours weekly.

You will execute front desk sales, conduct tours, book quality appointments to hit monthly quotas, and support member satisfaction and events.

Qualifications

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required.
• Must be fluent in English with excellent communication via in person, phone, and email.
• Part-time, in-studio role with a minimum of 20–25 hours availability per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute front desk sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close.
• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual needs.
• Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota.
• Assist with membership needs and overall satisfaction, including cancellations, freezes, and upgrades/downgrades.
• Support events and milestones within the studio (e.g., club milestones, birthdays).
• Present available services to current or prospective members and assist in hosting intro classes.

POSITION:

The purpose of the Manager on Duty/Sales Lead is to assist the Studio Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes. The Manager on Duty/Sales Lead also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required. This is a part-time, in-studio role with a minimum of 20-25 hours availability per week.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone, and email
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to cover/host/sell Intros
• Ability to open and close studio

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute front desk sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual's needs and wants
• Book quality appointment to achieve monthly sales quota
• Assist when scheduled in studio with membership needs and overall satisfaction of the club including cancellations, freezes, new sales and upgrade/downgrade requests
• Assist with milestones events within the current studio. (Examples include but are not limited to 100 clubs,250 clubs, birthdays etc.)
• Assist in implementing events and class challenges to current members
• Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
• Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
• Present available services to current or prospective members
• Lead intro classes with sales team
• Assist in attending special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
• Assist Studio Manager in inventory and other club necessities, as assigned.
• Higher level permissions through CR
• Teaching scheduled classes, if applicable
• Acting manager when staffed
• Other duties as assigned
