Job description

MANAGER OFFICE OPERATIONS AND CASE MANAGEMENT, Institute Discrimination and Harassment Response Office, to serve as the Institute’s case management specialist for complaints of discrimination or harassment based on an individual’s race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, or national or ethnic origin involving any member of the MIT community. The Manager will meet with impacted individuals to ensure that community members understand available resources, reporting options, and resolution pathways based on the desired outcome of the impacted person and the safety needs of the community. The Manager will document reported allegations and next steps, facilitate supportive measures, make appropriate referrals, and help coordinate the resources needed for informal resolutions. The Manager supervises staff on the Case Management Team and is also a member of the Office’s leadership team and will collaborate with the Director and other managers in strategic decision-making.
