Location: University of Houston

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Manager, Office position.

Requirement: Office Manager, Executive Assistant Experience

Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for overall office activities and services, including records of operating costs, associate files, compliance, record retention, and support documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and organize office operations such as bookkeeping, payroll preparation, personnel management, information management, filing systems, and supplies requisition.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for management, including financial, labor, and turnover reports.
  • Establish correspondence procedures and style practices to ensure consistent and effective communication.
  • Audit cash transactions, deposit funds, and prepare financial statements.
  • Review clerical and personnel records for compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage staff selection, hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Research and develop resources to create efficient workflows; redesign procedures as needed.
  • Plan office layout, develop budgets, and initiate cost-reduction programs.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
