Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American team serving dairy, beef, and forage segments. You will guide technical strategy, develop talent, and strengthen customer relationships while driving science-based solutions.

You will oversee trials, field studies, and collaborations, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D to translate scientific insights into value for producers across North America.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, coaching and developing technical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and SMEs.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation to drive growth and customer success.
• Oversee trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences and customer events.

As Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health , you will lead a team of highly qualified technical specialists supporting our North American dairy, beef, and forage businesses while partnering across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation functions. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to influence technical strategy, develop talent, strengthen customer relationships, and help bring science-based solutions to producers across North America. The role combines people leadership, customer engagement, and scientific expertise to drive business growth and customer success.

As Manager of Technical Service , you will lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and ensure the successful delivery of technical expertise across our probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions portfolio. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders while translating science into measurable customer value.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel with occasional international travel, including customer visits, industry conferences, technical meetings, and field engagements.

Flexibility to support customers and business needs across multiple time zones.

USD $140,000 – $190,000 + 15% target bonus
