Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Manager of Technical Service for North America to lead the Ruminant Technical Service team and deliver science-driven solutions across dairy, beef, and forages. You will partner with Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation to chart strategy and grow customer value.

You will supervise trials, engage nutritionists and veterinarians, and guide field programs to showcase products and scientific rigor. This leadership role blends science with business impact.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for advancing animal health, nutrition, and sustainability through science-based innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
• Shape technical strategy and influence the future of animal health, nutrition, and sustainability.

Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel with occasional international travel, including customer visits, industry conferences, technical meetings, and field engagements.

USD $140,000 – $190,000 + 15% target bonus
