Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health, to lead the NA team delivering expert support across dairy, beef, and forage portfolios. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation to translate science into customer value and drive growth.

You will oversee trials, field validation, and collaborations, represent the company at industry events, and mentor senior technical staff. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.

USD $140,000 – $190,000 + 15% target bonus
