Job summary

The Encompass Group partners with a Northwest Indiana orthopedic practice to identify a Rehabilitation Manager to lead and support its outpatient rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist who emphasizes clinical excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, clinical practices, and patient care standards.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for professional growth, team development, and delivering exceptional patient care.
• Membership in a professional organization (APTA or AOTA) preferred.
• Advanced degrees and certifications (OCS, CHT or equivalents) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, and employee performance to ensure efficient, high-quality rehabilitation services.
• Maintain a minimum of hands-on patient care while treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic population.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Foster a positive clinic environment prioritizing patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
• Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, teamwork, and outstanding service.
• Support development and implementation of clinical and operational processes to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with physicians, referral partners, and healthcare professionals.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical quality and patient experience.

The Rehabilitation Manager will oversee daily clinic operations, support employee performance, and help drive the continued growth of rehabilitation services while maintaining an active, hands-on clinical caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, and employee performance to ensure efficient, high-quality rehabilitation services.
• Maintain a minimum of 80% hands-on patient care while treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine population.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical record documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Foster a positive clinic environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and collaboration.
• Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, teamwork, and outstanding service.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical and operational processes that improve patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, referral partners, community organizations, and healthcare professionals.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, operational performance, and the overall patient experience.

Compensation & Incentives
