What you will be doing:
Lead a team of analysts responsible for HEDIS and/or Medicare Stars reporting and analytics
Oversee staff mentorship, feedback, performance review, and strategic business engagement
Manage high-priority analytic and reporting initiatives across clinical and administrative data sources
Ensure HEDIS specifications are followed in aligning clinical (EMR, lab) and administrative (claims) data
Support end-to-end data lifecycle for HEDIS processing, including gap-in-care analytics
Serve as the team’s subject matter expert for strategic insight generation and presentation review
Maintain structured reporting logs and oversee delivery timelines
Identify areas for measure improvement and lead the development of related action plans
Provide consultative insights using standard dashboards and analytics tools
Drive innovation by integrating business feedback into scalable analytics solutions
Support infrastructure, SAS/R/Python code promotions, and data governance standards adherence
What you must have:
8+ years of experience
Demonstrated leadership in managing a team and overseeing analytics deliverables
2+ years of SAS programming experience preferred (SQL or other tools considered)
Expertise in HEDIS and/or Medicare Stars programs
Proven ability to translate data trends into clear strategic recommendations
Experience managing cross-functional reporting requests and stakeholder interactions
Familiarity with clinical and claims data integration (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Salesforce platforms for grants or clinical programs
SQL, SAS, or other extraction/manipulation tools
Subject matter expertise in at least one core HEDIS measure
Experience with production reporting standards in healthcare analytics
