OPPORTUNITY

The Manager, Healthcare Analytics & Reporting is responsible for leading the development, governance, and optimization of enterprise analytics and reporting solutions that support value-based care operations, medical economics, clinical performance management, and strategic decision-making. This role combines advanced technical expertise, healthcare analytics knowledge, data engineering capabilities, data integration and interoperability expertise utilizing APIs and related technologies, and business intelligence leadership to deliver scalable reporting, actionable insights, and innovative analytics solutions across the organization.

The Manager, Healthcare Analytics & Reporting will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of reporting infrastructure, Power BI solutions, semantic data models, and dashboard governance standards. This individual will also drive innovation through the evaluation and adoption of AI-enabled analytics and emerging technologies. The role will collaborate closely with Medical Economics, Clinical Operations, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions that drive operational performance.

This position requires an individual who can bridge the gap between complex healthcare data and business strategy by translating analytical findings into actionable insights that drive measurable performance improvement across value-based care programs. The role will be responsible for developing operational metrics, establishing key performance indicators, and delivering reporting solutions that provide leaders with visibility into organizational performance, trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Actuarial & Medical Economics, the Manager, Healthcare Analytics & Reporting will serve as a key analytics leader responsible for advancing the organization’s reporting strategy, ensuring data accessibility and reporting accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analytics & Reporting Leadership
  • Lead the development, governance, and optimization of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Establish reporting standards, KPI definitions, metric governance, and dashboard best practices.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and scalable self-service analytics capabilities.
Business Intelligence & Data Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, data pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Build and optimize scalable data models, SQL transformations, and analytical datasets that support enterprise reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain data connections through APIs, healthcare data exchange platforms, and third-party applications to support scalable data ingestion, automation, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, performance, accessibility, and consistency across reporting environments.
  • Apply best practices in data engineering, data architecture, governance, and analytics development.
Operational Performance & Insights
  • Develop operational metrics and key performance indicators that measure organizational performance and support strategic goals.
  • Deliver actionable insights that identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas requiring intervention.
  • Translate complex healthcare data into meaningful recommendations that drive operational improvement and business outcomes.
Analytics Innovation & AI
  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of AI-enabled analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, insight generation, forecasting, and decision support through advanced analytics and AI solutions.
  • Champion innovation and modern analytics practices across the organization.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Medical Economics, Clinical Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, medical economics, data engineering, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience designing, querying, and optimizing data solutions within Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Advanced SQL experience working with large-scale healthcare data warehouses, including claims, eligibility, provider, and clinical datasets.
  • Strong data engineering experience designing and maintaining data pipelines, semantic models, and analytical datasets.
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON/XML data structures, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and the integration of third-party healthcare, operational, and business systems into analytics and reporting environments.
  • Experience developing operational metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with healthcare claims and healthcare operational data.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care, healthcare quality metrics, utilization management, and risk adjustment concepts.
  • Experience leveraging AI, machine learning, or generative AI to improve analytics, reporting automation, or operational decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
