This is a hands‑on role that combines grants management, financial oversight, compliance monitoring, systems building, and partnership with Family Promise Affiliates and internal teams. • Review grant agreements and translate financial, reporting, programmatic, and compliance requirements into clear processes and expectations.
  • Monitor grant expenditures for allowability, allocability, reasonableness, alignment with approved budgets, donor restrictions, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee grant budgets, spend-down, reporting, revenue reimbursement requests, and related financial activity to support timely and accurate execution.
  • Coordinate grant setup and maintenance in Sage Intacct and build dashboards and tools to track spend-down, compliance status, and reporting deadlines.

  • Lead quarterly and mid‑year check‑ins related to grant spend‑down and reporting, separate from the annual funding allocation process.
  • Identify compliance concerns, follow up directly when expectations are not being met, and implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
  • Build and maintain grant‑specific policies, procedures, monitoring checklists, and a scalable compliance playbook across the grant portfolio.
Reporting, Systems & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Provide guidance and support for audits related to programmatic grant management, including SEFA requirements as applicable.
  • Help ensure compliance with relevant licensing and nonprofit‑status requirements.
  • Develop and communicate fiscal policies, procedures, and financial guidance for the National Office and Affiliates.
  • Partner with the Data team to support appropriate data collection, evaluation, and reporting on program outcomes.
  • Support Development in communications with funders and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on grant objectives and compliance requirements.
