Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Manager of Fundraising to lead our annual giving initiatives supporting St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Responsibilities include planning and executing fundraising programs such as signature events, third-party fundraisers, direct mail campaigns, and employee giving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of annual fundraising events and third-party fundraisers to enhance community engagement and support.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors, providing personalized stewardship to deepen relationships and increase support.
  • Oversee the hospital’s employee giving campaign, fostering internal champions and ensuring high participation.
  • Develop and implement direct mail strategies to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
  • Collaborate with communication, development, and hospital leadership to craft compelling messaging and donor experiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of nonprofit fundraising and development experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare philanthropy.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for engaging with donors and prospects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking in gift solicitation and stewardship.
  • Ability to develop relationships with prospects and donors.
  • Experience working with board members and volunteers.
  • Team-oriented with proficiency in office technology, including Google applications.
