Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a skilled accounting leader in Fort Lauderdale to oversee critical financial reporting functions. This role partners with senior leadership to drive accuracy, compliance, and improvements in financial operations.

You will own month-end and quarter-end closes, support audits including SOX testing, and collaborate with the CFO and Director to enhance policies and controls. Requirements include a BS in Accounting, 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, Excel

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting and 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with PivotTables, VLOOKUPs.
• Knowledge of a large ERP system required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process for multiple agencies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, including assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
• Assist the Director and CFO in improving policies, procedures, and controls while implementing best practices.
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• BS in Accounting and at least 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Work experience in Media or Advertising preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• CPA a plus.
• Strong Excel skills are required - PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.
• Knowledge of a large ERP system is required.
