Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital seeks a Manager of Critical Care to lead patient care quality and departmental operations. The role includes evaluating care outcomes, budgeting projections, and guiding quality improvement initiatives in a busy, 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates will hold an RN license (APRN/RN), with an Associate degree or RN Diploma required and BSN preferred, plus at least one year of related leadership experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license required (APRN or RN)
• BSN preferred; RN Diploma/Associate degree required; one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, analyze and appraise patient care within the department.
• Advise the Department Director on patient care status, budget projections and quality improvement processes.
• Collaborate with and coordinate staff to accomplish the department's mission and initiatives.

Job Summary

To administer, analyze and appraise the care given to patients within the Department. To advise the Department Director regarding the status of patient care, budgetary projections, quality improvement processes. To anticipate and estimate future needs of the Department to improve quality of patient care. Collaborate and coordinate the efforts of the staff of the Department to accomplish the mission of HCA Florida Capital Hospital.

What qualifications you will need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or (RN) Registered Nurse License required
• Associate Nursing Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma required; BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience required
