Summary
We’re seeking a Manager of Cloud Infrastructure to lead the architecture, implementation, and operational support of a cloud environment powering SaaS web applications. This role blends deep, hands‑on Azure expertise (approximately 75%) with people leadership (approximately 25%), guiding a team of cloud and DevOps engineers while driving best practices across reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency. You’ll own the infrastructure roadmap, help advance DevOps maturity, and ensure scalable, secure cloud services that support a growing customer base.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related engineering work
- 2+ years of leadership and/or people-management experience
- 3+ years of recent, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience with Terraform and PowerShell (Bicep a plus)
- Strong understanding of Azure networking and cloud security best practices
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and applying DevSecOps practices
- Experience implementing monitoring/observability solutions (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor, third-party tools)
- Knowledge of designing highly available cloud services
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, performance, and growth
- Coordinate vendor partnerships and external service providers; collaborate with related DevOps/IT support resources
- Define and execute a cloud infrastructure strategy aligned to business goals
- Establish and enforce cloud best practices, standards, and cloud-native frameworks
- Provide technical leadership across Azure services and networking configurations (e.g., App Services, Function Apps, APIM, Traffic Manager, VNET, NAT Gateway, Private Endpoints)
- Oversee IaC delivery using Terraform/Bicep/PowerShell and manage environments from development through production
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; administer tooling such as repos/Git, Snyk, and SonarCloud
- Implement and improve monitoring, logging, dashboards, and overall observability (App Insights, Azure Monitor, etc.)
- Drive security and compliance efforts using zero-trust, least privilege, encryption, and threat protection; support SOC 2/NIST-aligned practices
- Optimize cloud reliability, performance, and cost through scaling strategies, reserved instances/savings plans, and FinOps governance
- Provide operational support including Priority 1 escalations and on‑call oversight; maintain clear documentation of architecture and procedures
