Job summary

Helping Hand Autism Services seeks a Manager of Clinical Excellence to support the Director of Autism Services in elevated clinical quality across programs. You will lead clinical staff development, promote adherence to standards, and drive improvements in client outcomes.

Summary

The Manager of Clinical Excellence supports the Director of Autism Services in maintaining and advancing clinical quality, consistency, and excellence across autism services. This role provides clinical leadership and operational support across a variety of initiatives, with a focus on ensuring high-quality client care, developing clinical staff, and promoting adherence to organizational and clinical standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Autism Services with clinical needs and initiatives, including complex client cases, clinical problem-solving, and case consultation.
• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical quality standards and best practices.
• Assist with clinical audits, documentation reviews, and quality assurance activities to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for staff development.
• Support the training and professional development of BCBAs, behavior technicians, and other clinical team members.
• Assist with the development and implementation of clinical training programs, resources, and educational materials.
• Coordinate and support graduate student programming, including student onboarding, training, mentorship, and program development.
• Collaborate with Clinical Managers, BCBAs, and other members of the clinical leadership team to promote consistency in clinical practices across programs and locations.
• Assist with the review and development of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Support the Director of Autism Services with special projects and organization-wide clinical initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes, staff support, client outcomes, and overall service quality.
• Serve as a resource to clinical staff by providing guidance, consultation, and support within the scope of the role.
• Participate in the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives based on audit findings, clinical trends, and organizational needs.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable clinical standards, ethical requirements, payer expectations, and evidence-based practices.
• Travel to various organizational centers and service locations, as needed, to support clinical initiatives, conduct audits, provide training, collaborate with clinical teams, and address other organizational needs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to support the clinical excellence and growth of the organization.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology,or related field required (PhD preferred)
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification required
• Previous experience as a Clinical Manager for Blue Lakes/HHAS
