Position Summary: ICVA is seeking a Manager of Assessment Programs who will be an integral member of the ICVA team. The Manager of Assessment Programs is essential in overseeing assessment strategies and evaluating the effectiveness of the International Council of Veterinary Assessment (ICVA) suite of veterinary assessment programs. The position requires a deep understanding of the assessment industry and the ability to make independent decisions while working autonomously. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable to change, and comfortable collaborating with volunteers, vendors, and stakeholders independently.
The Manager of Assessment Programs will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Presence: Candidate will regularly interact with senior executives from stakeholder
institutions and organizations, senior leaders of other higher education associations and organizations, and other partners, and other stakeholders and must feel comfortable representing the senior leadership team as well as the entire organization. Strong Communicator: Candidate will prepare a wide variety of materials for internal and external audiences, and such communications must be clear, concise and compelling. Develops and produces quality written work that is appropriate, thorough and accurate. Effective verbal communication and agile facilitator.
Self-starter: Have the discipline to fulfill commitments to staff, board members, and other stakeholders. Exhibits strong leadership skills and a high aptitude as a team contributor and mentor. Attends to how new approaches, policies, and guidelines integrate and align with current practices. Has experience communicating, coordinating and collaborating with volunteers.
Professionalism: good judgment; ability to interact with all levels of staff, volunteers, and vendors; appropriate demeanor and appearance; confidence. Retains focus and optimism even in times of ambiguity or when facing potential roadblocks. Views change as an opportunity to produce better results. Thinks proactively and creatively. Excellent customer service mentality and delivery; strong interpersonal skills; resourceful.

Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time regular position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, completing a full 37.5 hour work week (7.5 hours per day). There may be occasional evening and weekend work as job duties or projects require.
Work Environment: This position works remotely, or in a professional office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers.
