Job summary

Pinewood Springs is a joint venture hospital operated by HCA Healthcare’s Tristar Health and Maury Regional Medical Center. We are hiring a Manager of Assessment and Intake to oversee patient access and assessment workflows.

You will lead a behavioral health team, ensure timely assessments, and collaborate with hospital departments to maintain data integrity and service quality. Requires advanced clinical education and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field (or BSN) required.
• Nursing or clinical license preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in behavioral health.
• Prior leadership/coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely patient assessments by the department.
• Provide direct clinical oversight of the patient access process.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to provide needed services.
• Model and train staff on inquiry calls management and tracking.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Assures patient assessments are completed in a timely manner by the department


• Provides direct clinical oversight of the patient access process


• Works collaboratively with hospital departments to provide services needed.


• Models and trains other behavioral health team members on managing and tracking inquiry calls.


• Tracks and reports on all key indicators related to calls, assessment, admissions.


• Ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained


• Provides input, suggestions and support appropriately.


• Participates as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.


• Responsible for reporting department performance and for identifying trends/patterns that require intervention


• Completes additional duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Masters Degree in Psychology OR Counseling OR Social Work OR related field - Required OR BSN


• License (nursing or clinical) - Preferred


• Minimum of five years experience in behavioral health field -Strongly Preferred


• Prior leadership (coordinator/supervisor) - Preferred
