Pharmavite is seeking a Manager of Analytics to lead customer analytics for the Target portfolio, translating data into strategic recommendations that drive growth for Nature Made, MegaFood, and Women’s Health brands. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to influence strategy through advanced analytics and thought leadership.

You will develop plans with Target leadership, manage promotions, pricing, and display planning, and build expert reports using Vendor IQ

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years in account management with emerging brands or CPG, or 3+ years in Target buying/merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Target and Target.com brands (Nature Made, MegaFood, Women’s Health).
  • Manages day-to-day digital sales, digital penetration, digital promotion, AOP planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and JBP inputs.
  • Builds relationships with Target personnel and broker representatives for account planning and insights.
  • Develops objectives, programs, and plans with the Target Director to align brand strategies with Target strategies.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally on promotions and display planning, including YOY display growth.
  • Provides pricing strategy and item architecture analysis to support Finance, Brand, and Operations.
  • Assists Target Director with P&L, promotion forecasting, trade-spend tracking and budget management.
  • Develops expertise in Target Vendor IQ Dashboard, Circana, Stackline; provides regular reporting.
  • Delivers research and insights for Target account decisions; analyzes segment growth, promotions, inventory, new item performance, space, and displays.
  • Monitors competitive activity within the Target channel.
  • Manages MegaFood brand at Target with strategic growth, distribution, joint planning, promotions, displays, and digital strategy.

Position Summary

Manager of Analytics is responsible for leading customer analytics and business insights for Pharmavite’s Target business, transforming data into strategic recommendations that support the growth of Target and Target.com. This role helps accelerate category growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive profitable revenue growth. The Manager of Analytics serves as a trusted business partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Insights, influencing customer strategy through advanced analytics, business planning, and thought leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Supports Target and Target.com business across Nature Made, MegaFood and Women’s Health specialty brands.
  • Provides day‑to‑day business management support for Nature Made, MegaFood and Women’s Health brands, including digital sales, digital penetration, digital promotion, AOP planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and JBP inputs.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key Target customer personnel and broker representatives to support account planning, insight sharing, and execution of business priorities.
  • Develops customer objectives, programs, presentations, and business plans with the Target Director to align brand strategies with Target strategies.
  • Works cross‑functionally on promotional and display planning and execution, including YOY display award growth.
  • Provides pricing strategy and item architecture analysis to support Finance, Brand, and Operations, maximizing sales while minimizing channel conflicts.
  • Assists the Target Director with P&L management, including promotion forecasting, trade‑spend tracking, and budget management for promotional allowances, and other retailer funding opportunities in partnership with Finance.
  • Develops and grows subject‑matter expertise in Target’s Vendor IQ Dashboard, Circana, Stackline, and other customer/POS tools; provides regular customer sales reporting, ad‑hoc reporting, and retail price surveys.
  • Provides research, analysis, and insights that serve as key inputs into Target account decision‑making. Shares learnings with the Director of National Accounts, Target, and cross‑functional partners across Shopper Marketing, Marketing/Insights, Operations, Finance, Brand, Customer Marketing, Demand Planning, and Customer Service. Areas of analysis may include:
    • Segment growth opportunities
    • Promotional effectiveness, including post‑promotion lift analysis and impact on daily replenishment
    • Inventory, consumption, and out‑of‑stock performance, including key inventory insights for Demand Planning and forecasting
    • New item performance
    • Space and location analysis down to the item level to inform shelf placement, merchandising, planograms, and modular changes
    • Display performance and its impact on customer sales, inventory, and Pharmavite annual shipment plans
  • Monitors and identifies competitive activity within the Target channel.
  • Managing the MegaFood brand at Target:
    • Developing and driving short term and long‑term strategies for profitable sales growth
    • Driving increased distribution YOY
    • Joint business planning
    • Promotional planning and trade forecasting
    • Display planning and YOY display award growth
    • Digital strategy including digital sales, penetration, promotion
    • Co‑responsibility for AOP planning and presentation
    • Co‑responsibility for Quarterly Business Reviews
Minimum Qualifications
Education

Requires a four year college or university degree or its equivalent.

Certification

None.

Experience

The ideal candidate has a background (3+ years) in account management with either emerging brands or established CPG; or has a background in buying, merchandising or planning at Target for 3+ years.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Requires
  • Competent knowledge and experience with customer-specific data, reports, and analytical tools including Target’s Vendor IQ Dashboard.
  • Ability to develop clear, concise and impactful presentations that translate complex data into insights that drive collaborative decision‑making with the customer.
  • Proficient in Circana syndicated and panel databases.
  • Excellent overall PC skills (MS Office, with special emphasis on having an advanced knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel and how to effectively utilize Excel in creating and manipulating data into useful insights that can be leveraged to grow Pharmavite’s business).
  • Excellent organizational, project management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, personal presentation skills and the ability to interface effectively and converse with customers and cross‑functional partners.
  • Competent knowledge of the vitamin industry in Food, Drug, and Mass Merchandising channels preferred.
  • Knowledge of online retailer and marketplaces; understanding of ecommerce and digital selling channels.
Physical Requirements

Ability to carry sample cases and presentations to customer sites (approximately 5 – 20 lbs.), reset product planograms, build displays and merchandise Pharmavite product at stores.

Requires approximately 10% travel. Must be able to travel by air and automobile.

SALARY RANGE

National Target Base Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $166,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $110,000 - $184,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job‑related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
