Position Summary: The Department Leader is responsible for managing the daily operations of an assigned Department and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly results in the areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity, and reliability while meeting department schedule adherence and attainment goals. They model Pharmavite’s purpose, beliefs, and values for their employees by embedding a first-time right mentality and promoting robust root cause problem solving/CAPA development capability within their team, to attain goals to deliver customer requirements. Additionally, they are responsible for executing improvement plans and building team capabilities through training, coaching, feedback, and performance management.
Exposure to disagreeable elements as may be found in a typical manufacturing environment is moderate but constant. May stand and walk around for a majority of their shift on concrete floors. Must be able to work 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 shift schedule.
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
The incumbent has direct supervisory responsibility for up to 25 employees.
Up to 10%; will require more extensive travel during the first year to onboard, train in assigned dosage form, and qualify new equipment.
