Job summary

CFS is seeking a Director of Accounts Payable in Daytona Beach with responsibility for leading a critical AP operation, driving automation and process improvements. The role requires developing the AP team, strengthening controls, and collaborating with Accounting and Finance leadership on month-end close, audits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in accounts payable, preferably in high-volume or multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of AP controls, compliance requirements and best practices.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Workday.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, and expense management.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing AP team focused on accuracy and timely execution.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve escalated issues, and maintain vendor master data integrity.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to support month-end close, audits, and reporting requirements.
