The Manager of Accounting position combines financial administration with day-to-day educational operations. Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Schools, the primary responsibilities center on core financial management, including general ledger preparation, monthly financial reporting, year-end compilation preparation, and supporting overall budgeting and forecasting. In addition to traditional corporate accounting duties, the role handles overseeing system-wide student registration along with all aspects of tuition invoicing and collections. A significant aspect of the job involves regular executive reporting, requiring monthly financial presentations to both the Finance Committee and the School Board. To succeed in this fast-paced environment, candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional time management, and the organizational ability to meet tight deadlines across a variety of accounting activities. Also, because this role serves a faith-based educational institution, candidates must be willing to adhere to and follow Catholic social teachings as dictated by the diocese.
