Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo is seeking a Manager - Occupational Health to lead a sub unit within the department, plan and develop goals, and supervise staff.

You will support employee and student health, coordinate annual competency assessments, ensure licensure/certification compliance, and uphold regulatory and accreditation requirements. This role emphasizes risk reduction and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with two years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and supervisory experience to equal six years.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, clinical practice standards, and employee health processes.
  • Ability to interpret organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and compliance-related activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record systems.

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required.
