Job Location: Trinity Health Kenmare Hospital (03) - Kenmare, ND 58746, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $19.35 - $28.06 Hourly, Position Summary: The Nutrition Services Manager provides operational leadership for food production, cafeteria services, and meal delivery within Trinity Health Kenmare Hospital, supporting reliable and high-quality nutrition services across the facility. This role oversees high-volume meal preparation, retail and catering activities, and daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and consistent nutrition support for patients, staff, and visitors. Working in close partnership with the Director of Nutrition Services, the Nutrition Services Manager helps maintain regulatory compliance, supports department performance goals, and upholds established service, safety, and sanitation standards. The position promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-focused service excellence within a structured and team-oriented work environment.
The Nutrition Services Manager is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout kitchen, cafeteria, and storage areas. The role involves lifting, carrying, and transporting food items, supplies, and equipment of moderate weight, as well as operating commercial kitchen tools and appliances. Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity are essential for monitoring food quality, ensuring safe equipment use, and communicating effectively in a busy work environment.
This position works in a commercial kitchen and food service environment with exposure to heat, cold storage areas, cleaning chemicals, and food preparation equipment. The work setting includes fastpaced meal production, frequent interruptions, and periods of high volume. The Nutrition Services Manager must follow all food safety, infection control, and workplace safety protocols and may be experience variable scheduling based on departmental needs.
