Job summary

Henry Ford Health System in Detroit is seeking a Manager, Network Engineering & Architecture to lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the enterprise network. You will manage architects, senior engineers, and supervisors, ensuring seamless integration with healthcare systems and devices across HFHS locations.

The role focuses on improving network performance and reliability, partnering with business units to drive cost-effective solutions, and supporting medical applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management, or related field, or equivalent Health Care IT Network experience.
• Minimum ten (10) year's experiencemanaging complex enterprise networks.
• Minimum five (5) year'sexperience in an IT network leadership role, working in a hospital/healthcare environment supporting medical applications and devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of architects, senior engineers, and supervisors to ensure network operational excellence.
• Collaborate with business units to develop strategic direction and cost-effective network solutions.
• Oversee network integrations with CCS, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, HAP, and shared business locations.
• Improve network performance, capacity, and availability using advanced hardware and software technologies.
• Support medical applications and devices, including Epic Systems, GE Definium XRay, GE EKG, Alaris intravenous pumps, RTLS, and wayfinding.
