Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Network Engineering to join our global team at Sectigo. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, leading a team of engineers to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates should reside within 2 hours of Newark, New Jersey, to support our network operations and data center.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and mentoring a team of network engineers.
2. Developing and implementing network design strategies aligned with organizational goals.
3. Managing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
4. Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on network solutions.
6. Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends.
7. Maintaining network documentation.
8. Managing vendor relationships and procurement.
9. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations.
10. Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years in network engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN).
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with network management tools (Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, CISSP are highly desirable.
