Manager, Merchandising Planning – Kids Fashion

You will be the expert for your category, leveraging Walmart's scale to impact millions of customers worldwide, supported by our culture and tools.

What you'll do
  • Category/Item Forecasting: Perform financial forecasts using analytics, trend insights, and BI to project results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for inputs and share outputs to align strategies. Understand trend implications on metrics and guide teammates on actions.
  • Feature and Promotion Management: Influence feature and promotional plans based on historical data and insights. Support decisions on buy quantities and store allocations. Use tools to evaluate price impact on velocity and communicate financial needs and performance.
  • Modular Strategy and Financials: Analyze item performance, challenge assumptions, and communicate financial impacts of assortment changes. Prepare executive summaries and conduct post-analysis for accountability.
  • Business Management Decision Support: Assess business health, identify opportunities, and recommend data-driven actions to improve outcomes, influencing P&L decisions.
  • Budgeting: Develop and recommend financial targets, incorporate business intelligence, and build budgets into the financial system.
  • Financial Updates and Reporting: Manage monthly financial reviews, highlight key drivers, opportunities, and action plans, and analyze seasonal impacts.

The annual salary range is $70,000 - $130,000, with potential bonuses and stock options. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with 2 years’ experience, or 4 years’ experience in relevant areas.
