A leading company in digital marketing is seeking a Manager, Media Analytics in Chicago to lead data-driven solutions for clients, focusing on performance optimization in media campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of analytics, statistical modeling, and strong collaboration across teams, aiming to drive innovation and success in marketing initiatives.
The Manager, Media Analytics leads the implementation of data-driven solutions for clients – including report automation, analysis and insight – with the objective of optimizing the performance of digital marketing initiatives. You will work together with an Associate Director to manage data and insight delivery processes, drive innovation, and ensure all-around team success.
We are looking for someone who is execution-focused, able to deliver under tight timelines, and experienced at managing data challenges in digital media and marketing. Your success requires the ability to manage complexity while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead execution of overall analytics strategy on behalf of clients, including onboarding, data integration, reporting, measurement, testing, advanced analytics (including operationalized machine learning), insight development, and forecasting
Develop and apply statistical models and forecasting techniques to support campaign planning and performance optimization
Understand important business challenges facing B2C & B2B clients, and develop relevant campaign measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning opportunities
Ensure agreement between daily analytics support and approved measurement frameworks
You will be the Data Analytics subject matter expert, collaborating with internal planning, activation, audience teams, and client partners
Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences
Stay current on industry trends, methodologies, and technologies, and contribute to a team-wide culture of learning
Apply knowledge of financial markets to contextualize performance insights and support clients in finance-related verticals
You will report to Associate Director, Analytics
Qualifications:
4+ years of media analytics experience in a media agency environment
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
Proficiency in R for statistical analysis and modeling
Experience with time series forecasting and predictive modeling techniques
Familiarity with financial market dynamics and their impact on marketing performance
Proficient in SQL and Tableau
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including data visualization skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit and a passion for coaching
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
