  2. Coordinate with and ensure Rowan’s understanding of any MEP engineering related customer design requirements on a project-by-project basis.
  3. Utilize previous experience with data center cooling strategies, including air-cooled and liquid cooling solutions within the white space, to guide and support the Rowan design team and translate customer needs into Rowan designs.
  4. Provide on-site field support during construction to ensure MEP engineering work is executed according to design specifications and standards.
  5. Collaborate with design and construction teams to address site-specific challenges and optimize designs for constructability.
  6. Interface with Rowan’s Commercial team and program managers with SME-level data and interpretation for key stakeholder decisions related to mechanical engineering.
  7. Support the preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, scopes of work) for MEP components, with production by third-party consultants.
  8. Review contractor work, submittals, and RFIs to ensure adherence to standards and project requirements.
  9. Build relationships with permitting agencies, vendors, and client technical experts.
  10. Identify risks throughout all project stages from site origination to operations.
  11. Support the growth of the engineering team by helping establish standards and processes.
  12. Assist with other technical tasks as needed.
  13. Support site construction teams with pre-construction MEP engineering services as an internal client.
  14. Work with government and jurisdictional agencies on complex NEP review, permitting, and AHJ approval processes.
