Req#: 130991BR The Testing Strategy Manager will own and drive the strategic test-and-learn roadmap and priorities for Marketing by partnering closely with senior leadership and execution teams driving cross-channel collaboration and continuous improvement. The Manager will lead this agenda across the Marketing, Merchandising and E-Commerce departments to develop and execute testing strategy roadmap. The Manager must be self-motivated, able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, able to communicate effectively and drive alignment from strategic company priorities through to effective analytics and statistical measurements to measure test agenda success and next steps.
We are looking for a team player who can collaborate with and train the broader Marketing team on project management methodologies and own development of the Marketing test and learn mission. This person will lead project management of multiple testing workstreams across various stakeholders including (but not limited to) marketing channel leads, marketing analytics, creative agencies, and external partners (such as the provider of our Marketing Mix Modeling). Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing the testing agenda of 5+ individual teams and connecting dots across individual channels to distill cross-functional learnings to inform strategy decisions. The Manager must be able to provide thoughtful and effective strategic plans for execution of the testing roadmap.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of all aspects of testing and project management. The candidate is willing to bring intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for retail media / merchandising test & learn (even if does not have experience in the topic).
Duties and Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across Marketing, Strategy, Merchandising, and Ecommerce to improve strategic learnings and scaling for testing
• Drive collaboration across senior leaders within marketing organization to push forward test & learn path
• Own strategic testing roadmap and updates to backlog and sequencing
• Work closely with channel teams to write test briefs, support planning of tests, and to ensure tests are executed as planned and that any obstacles to test execution are removed
• Manage updates while tests are in-flight to ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged
• Facilitate processes (e.g., scheduling check-ins, supporting sprint planning)
• Lead weekly meetings, involves all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
• Partner with marketing analytics team to gather test results, including measures of significance
• Develop, track and drive success in testing KPIs
• Distill implications from test analysis, and facilitate presenting findings to the organization, partner with execution teams on strategy for next steps
• Collaborate with agency and third-party partners to facilitate exchange of performance data and insights
