About The Role

The Manager, Market Management supports membership growth and management by ensuring providers and other key stakeholders across our service area have the information and support they need to provide best-in-class member care, achieve our growth goals, and drive quality health outcomes. You will develop and analyze trends that help drive best-in-class member care and quality outcomes, while meeting affordability targets. You will assist in developing strong relationships with community partners and generate key insights within our markets to guide overall growth strategies. You will operate in a matrixed organization and build partnerships across the organization.

You will report to the Director, Market Management.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in Florida.

Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $97,200 - $127,575 per year.

You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies to improve profitability and sustainability of our markets.
  • Execute necessary tasks of the market(s) growth, profitability, and affordability plan for assigned market(s).
  • Manage industry relationships to support market growth, profitability, and affordability efforts.
  • Support and/or manage team members responsible for servicing, education, and communication within the provider network.
  • Identify and guide initiatives to improve quality and financial performance.
  • Monitor partners for compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Contribute to business strategies to achieve market goals and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience in healthcare client management, consulting, financial services, healthcare finance, performance management, or related fields.
  • 2+ years experience conducting financial analyses on markets or product lines.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with ACA marketplace, quality of care, and population health.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
