Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department at our Neenah, WI facility. You will oversee maintenance costs, contractor work, preventive maintenance, and capital projects to improve asset reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include developing and executing a preventive maintenance program, managing a team of engineers and technicians, and coordinating with Operations to drive continuous improvement.

About The Opportunity

In this position you will be responsible and accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance functions of all plant equipment, project management of new equipment installations and timekeeping/vacation time/scheduling of the maintenance team.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement maintenance and engineering strategies to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets.
• Accountable for key Maintenance performance metrics including work order completion and machine reliability.
• Support equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; implements capital expenditure projects and is accountable for payback expectations.
• Support Operations Leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
• Execute the annual financial plan and monitors performance within planned budget.
• Design, develop, and manage capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities.
• Develop and execute sites' preventative maintenance program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects to drive operational excellence.
• Support key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes.
• Assure compliance with Company's work order platform.
• Assure all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Provide guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reports.
• Interact with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues.
• Fill in when needed on any shifts due to staffing shortage, emergency or business critical events.
• Willingness to go above and beyond the status quo of maintaining the department; "lead the change for the growth and innovation."

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree desired.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
