Job summary

Moorings Park is actively seeking a dedicated Manager of Maintenance in Naples, FL to lead the Maintenance, Buildings and Grounds operations, ensuring safety and comfort across all facilities. The role oversees interior and exterior upkeep, enforces policies, and collaborates with staff to plan and maintain assets.

The ideal candidate has substantial maintenance experience, supervisory background, and knowledge of blueprints and building codes.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent oral and written English communication.
• May be required to remain on duty during emergencies or natural disasters.
• Five years of experience in mechanical, electrical, grounds and building maintenance preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of blueprints and specifications for installation.
• Knowledge of building codes and refurbishment of apartments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating maintenance of interior and exterior facilities, buildings, and grounds.
• Develop and implement departmental policies to ensure proper maintenance.
• Foster good working relationships with staff to meet facility needs.
• Oversee facility maintenance to meet safety standards and manufacturer specs.
• Supervise and monitor department personnel to ensure compliance with directives.
• Inspect facilities to ensure high standards of maintenance and repair.
• Monitor routine maintenance across systems (AC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, pools, etc.).
• Interpret policies to department personnel as needed.
• Complete forms and reports for director and maintain administrative procedures.
• Requisition, control, and maintain supplies; prepare cost reports for submission.

Position Summary Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated Manager of Maintenance to join our team. The Manager of Maintenance assists in the direction of the overall operation of the Maintenance, Buildings and Grounds Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local requirements, ensuring that the highest degree of safety and comfort is maintained at all times.

Key Contributions

• Assists with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the maintenance of all interior and exterior facilities, buildings, and grounds.
• Assists with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures to ensure that the facility is properly maintained.
• Develops and maintains a good working relationship with all staff to assure that Maintenance Dept. can be properly planned and maintained to meet the needs of the facility.
• Organizes facility's overall maintenance, which includes ensuring that equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications, work performed meets safety requirements, and all maintenance workers follow appropriate federal and state safety guidelines.
• Supervises and monitors work of department personnel to ensure compliance of directives and established procedures.
• Inspects the facility as directed to ensure that high standards of maintenance and repair are met.
• Monitor routine maintenance and repairs including a/c, refrigeration, mechanical, buildings, elevator carpentry, plumbing, pools, fountains, irrigations, and basic electrical work.
• Interprets policies and procedures to department personnel as necessary.
• Completes necessary forms and reports as required by the director ensuring that the department's administrative procedures are followed.
• Requisitions, controls, and maintains an adequate level of required supplies and keeps adequate financial records and cost reports for Submission to the department director as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
