The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. Overview / Scope of Position :

Corning’s Global Supply Management team provides process benchmarking, standardization, and governance for logistics and warehousing processes in SAP S / 4 HANA, SAP ECC, & Peoplesoft. The Logistics Process Manager will bring system and process expertise for transformation projects, translating requirements into technical system solutions. This role involves identifying system settings, owning processes, leading change management in logistics, and developing documentation with best practices.

Purpose and Major Responsibilities of Position :

1. Own and deliver logistics & warehousing SME expertise across all ERP platforms (SAP S4 Hana, SAP ECC, & Peoplesoft).
2. Partner with GSM’s E2E Transformation Team to translate business requirements into operational ERP system solutions for end users.
3. Identify and implement process improvements in logistics, interfacing with manufacturing execution systems, to align with industry best practices.
4. Develop and deliver metrics to drive supply chain process improvements.
5. Document unmet business requirements, assist process owners in building a process innovation pipeline, including business cases when standards do not suffice.
6. Develop and document logistics & warehousing standard processes, including best practices and recommendations.
7. Provide SME training, troubleshooting, and build power users within the organization.

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics and warehousing
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft (preferred) and/or SAP S / 4 Hana, SAP ECC
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel 25%

Preferred

• Experience in a global, cross-functional environment
• Experience with TMS systems such as Blue Yonder, Oracle, Manhattan Associates, Mercury Gate, Uber Freight, etc.
• Extensive E2E Logistics experience in solution development, support, and governance
• Masters in Business Administration

The salary range is $80,262.00-$110,360.00, depending on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pension, life insurance, disability, and PTO.
