SALARY: $100,000 - $118,750, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

LOCATION: Preferred location is Michigan - Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo or Lansing

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Key Account Manager for 7-Eleven/Speedway is responsible for growing share by developing & maintaining strong relationships with A-B wholesalers, Region Team, and key 7-Eleven stakeholders. The overall purpose of this position is to manage and execute A-B sales objectives at 7-Eleven/Speedway, including volume, share, distribution, and assortment. The Sr. KAM must be organized, ambitious, analytical, and dependable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow A-B sales & share in 7-Eleven/Speedway within the states of MI, IL, WI & MN
  • Provide total account management; sell-in corporate programs and brand promotions
  • Direct and manage space management priorities of A-B and the account
  • Utilize sales tools to create selling stories (IRI, Hero, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Maintain active & ongoing communications and foster relationships with AB region sales, wholesaler personnel & 7-Eleven Operations teams
  • Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets
  • Contribute to development and management of month PRs and annual account plan
  • Facilitate communication of wholesaler's pricing to chain account
  • Travel up to 40%

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (emphasis in Business, Sales, and/or Marketing is strongly desired)
  • Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly Category Management and information-based selling)
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet)
  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred
  • Effective Communications/Presenting, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills
  • Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer products industries preferred
  • Understanding of A-B wholesaler network/processes and Wholesaler Equity Agreement
  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment
