Job summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager, Investigations Litigation Group in the Global Legal Organization, ideally located in New Brunswick, NJ to co-locate with the team. The role primarily supports the North America region, conducting investigations, reviewing documentation, interviewing witnesses, and delivering reports with actionable findings to drive corrective action.

Required BA/BS and 7+ years in investigations/compliance/law, plus strong data skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 7+ years in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in Investigations, Compliance, Audit, Law, or related field.
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence all levels of management.
  • Ability to run reports and review data from systems/databases (CRM, Concur, HighBond, iConnect).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Investigative background preferred; understanding of accounting principles is a plus.

Job Description

We are searching for the best talent for a US based Manager, Investigations Litigation Group in the Global Legal Organization. The preferred location for this role is New Brunswick, NJ to benefit from being co-located with the Global Investigations & Government Litigation Group team.

The Global Investigations & Government Litigation Group is responsible for conducting investigations of possible violations of law or policy, globally across all sectors and Enterprise Functions. This role would primarily support the North America region.

You will be responsible for:
  • Effectively prioritize and complete cross sector investigation case load primarily for North America, ensuring quality detailed investigation and timely completion.
  • Collect, review, and analyze documentation related to allegations.
  • Conduct or assist with target and witness interviews.
  • Write and review required investigation reports and detail relevant findings and status in the appropriate Case Management System.
  • Partner effectively with business partners including HCC Officers, Senior Leadership, Employee Relations, Global Audit & Assurance (GA&A) and Global Legal Organization to conduct investigations and communicate investigation findings and recommendations to support corrective action.
  • Provide ad hoc and regular data analysis, risk insights, metrics, and trending of investigations.
  • Support external partnerships with vendors, outside counsel and audit firms as required.
  • Operate independently, effectively, and efficiently within a complex, matrixed, and fast paced environment.
  • Employ prudent risk taking and creative problem solving.
  • Drive innovative approaches to the investigative process that improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in Investigations, Compliance, Audit, Law, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to run reports and review data from systems / databases is required. Some examples may include CRM, Expense Reporting or MAP management systems such as iConnect, Concur, HighBond, etc.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute on multiple and frequently changing priorities.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Investigative background preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management frameworks preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency
  • Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
