  • Lead cycle counting programs, location audits, SKU accuracy reviews, and full physical inventory activities for a broad mix of parts, supplies, accessories, and service components.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including mis‑picks, overages, shortages, damages, returns, bin/location errors, and root‑cause issues impacting customer order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, replenishment needs, slotting accuracy, and product availability to support customer service levels and high‑volume order demand.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with distribution operations, receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, transportation, procurement, customer service, and finance teams.
  • Coordinate inventory availability to support customer orders, branch replenishment, service parts demand, seasonal volume shifts, and priority fulfillment needs.
  • Support new product launches, SKU transitions, product discontinuations, vendor changes, and inventory moves while minimizing service disruption.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, including cycle count accuracy, inventory turns, shrink, aging inventory, location accuracy, fill rate impacts, and transaction compliance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, slotting effectiveness, and overall distribution center productivity.
  • Track KPIs and present findings, risks, trends, and corrective actions to distribution center and supply chain leadership.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, safety expectations, inventory policies, and distribution center operating procedures.
  • Maintain documentation for inventory audits, transaction reviews, discrepancy investigations, and internal/external audit processes.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise inventory control analysts, inventory clerks, cycle count associates, and other team members supporting high‑volume parts and supplies inventory operations.
  • Train team members on inventory procedures, system usage, transaction accuracy, location control, and standard work expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, safety, urgency, customer focus, and continuous improvement across the inventory control function.
