Job summary

6 Degrees Group is hiring a Manager, International Accounting and Consolidations in Peachtree Corners, GA. The role leads the international reporting function, coordinating with regional teams and auditors to ensure accurate consolidation under US GAAP. A CPA and 5+ years of experience are preferred; hybrid work with two days in office.

You will manage a small team, including offshore resources, and drive process improvements in consolidations, FX analysis, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in consolidation roles.
• Strong knowledge of consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and FX.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/EP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead international close and consolidation including journal entries.
• Reconcile international statutorys to U.S. GAAP and analyze FX impacts.
• Develop the team, including offshore resources, and improve controls.
• Prepare reconciliations and liaise with external auditors on global matters.

Job description

A global client of 6 Degrees Group is hiring a Manager, International Accounting and Consolidations in Peachtree Corners, GA. Our client is a well-established global insurance services company with operations and finance teams in countries around the world. This manager leads the international reporting function and a small team, owning the monthly consolidation of international results into the U.S. GAAP ledger. You'll be the go-to person for senior management on international numbers, working closely with regional finance, tax, treasury, and legal teams. It's a hybrid role with two days a week in the office, and a great fit for a CPA who enjoys the technical side of consolidations and FX.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the international close and consolidation, including the consolidation journal entries and regional variance analysis
• Reconcile international statutory financials to U.S. GAAP and analyze FX impacts on expense and CTA
• Lead and develop the team, including offshore resources, while improving processes and internal controls
• Prepare BlackLine reconciliations and act as a main contact for external auditors on U.S. and international matters
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA license (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency
• Advanced Excel skills, with PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP, or Oracle EPM/Smartview a plus
