Veradigm is seeking an experienced audit professional to provide independent assurance and consulting to management and the Audit Committee.

The role supports enterprise risk management, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, and governance initiatives, focusing on internal controls, remediation, and coordination with process owners. A strong GAAP background and prior audit experience are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical/business experience required.
• 8+ years relevant work experience; 2-3 years at the Expert level or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4-6 years in audit / finance, with preference for at least 2 in a manager level role required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing concepts required.

Provide independent, objective, audit assurance and consulting activity to management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Perform activities related to assessment and/or coordination of enterprise risk management, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, operational effectiveness reviews and corporate governance activities.

What You’ll Contribute:

• Promoting an awareness of the importance of effective internal controls and corporate governance practices throughout the organization
• Assisting management with the development and execution of an enterprise risk management framework
• Assisting in the development and execution of an annual audit plan
• Performing and documenting transaction walkthroughs
• Assessing the design of internal controls and performing tests of operating effectiveness
• Assisting management in the development of remediation plans for any identified control deficiencies
• Coordinating with business process owners regarding effective IPE procedures
• Serving as an internal control subject matter expert and providing advisory services with respect to development of new processes and implementations of new applications or system functionality
• Performing special projects or investigations at the request of the Audit Committee or management
• Providing timely written reports and other communications to management, external auditors, and the Audit Committee
• Actively manages and reviews work products of other auditors and / or consultants to ensure audit quality
• Identifies and recruits internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies
• Sets and communicates team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performance
• Allocates work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience required

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing concepts required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters/MBA preferred
• Experience in a Big 4 Audit firm preferred
